Kevin Owens posted on social media to promote the sale of cookies for his daughter’s Girl Scout troop, stating he would “keep wrestling for at least 4 years, 11 months, and 22 days” longer in exchange for the support of fans.
The post seems to give a very strong hint at the former WWE Universal Champion’s future with the company, amidst speculation of his contract status.
Owens said in August 2024 that he had less than six months remaining on his WWE contract, and a report from Dave Meltzer that October noted that multiple people were of the belief Owens had already re-signed, but it was being kept quiet.
The potential news comes after Owens faced Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a ladder match at the Royal Rumble premium live event, with the champion Rhodes ulimately retaining.
The next night on Raw, Owens attacked Sami Zayn and laid him out with a package piledriver, revenge for his best friend choosing to stay neutral in the war between Owens and Rhodes.
