Fightful Select (alongside PWN) has reported that Carmella’s contract with WWE has recently expired, after last appearing for the company in March 2023.
The former Women’s Champion last competed on the March 6, 2023 edition of WWE Raw against Bianca Belair, before taking time off due to pregnancy.
Carmella and husband Corey Graves welcomed the birth of their son in November 2024, but the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank winner was halted from an in-ring return due to drop foot, a condition she spoke about with Brie and Nikki Bella in a recent interview.
It is unknown if Carmella will explore other opportunities outside WWE when she is cleared to return, as she had noted that she missed performing and was waiting on her nerves to heal in order to make a comeback.
