Tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event kicked off with the women’s Elimination Chamber Match to determine the #1 Contender for the Women’s World Championship.
A match that saw a return appearance by Jade Cargill ended with Bianca Belair last eliminating Liv Morgan, as noted by Mike Tedesco in his ongoing live coverage of the event:
After a few moments, Belair goes for a powerbomb on the floor. Morgan’s back is bleeding from the braid whip. Morgan tries to counter with a hurricanrana, but Belair holds her up and slings her into the pod glass and chamber wall many times. Belair then powerbombs her over the top rope and into the ring. Belair goes to the top rope for a 450 splash, but Morgan gets the knees up. Belair soon tries to fight back with a KOD, but Morgan lands on her feet and hits a codebreaker. Morgan goes for Ob-Liv-ion, but Belair counters into a KOD for the win!
Belair is set to face the winner of the Women’s World Championship match tomorrow night on Raw, with either Rhea Ripley or IYO SKY going to WrestleMania 41 to defend the title against the new #1 Contender.
WrestleMania 41 takes place Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise (Las Vegas), Nevada.
