Cora Jade’s match against Jordynne Grace on Tuesday’s (3/4) episode of NXT was stopped due Jade being unable to continue.
Several social media accounts reported that Jade had suffered a knee injury. However, Jade posted to X refuting the injury, saying that she only ‘got rocked for a sec’ and that her ‘knees are all good.’
The injury took place when Grace sent Jade into the corner. Jade then said something to the referee, thus causing Grace to back away. Just after Grace backed off, the referee stopped the match. Lilian Garcia who was doing the ring announcing on NXT this week, announced Jade was unable to continue in the match and as a result, the match was awarded to Grace due to referee stoppage. WWE medical staff hit the ring to immediately check on Jade.
