According to WrestleVotes and F4WOnline, former WWF/E World Tag Team Champions The Natural Disasters will be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame Class. The two were a tag team from May 1991 to December 1992.
The two-time tag team champions consisted of Earthquake (John Tenta) and Typhoon (Fred Ottman), who later became Tugboat. On June 7, 2006, Tenta died of bladder cancer, which was just 15 days shy of his 43rd birthday. The 68-year old Ottman retired from pro wrestling in 2009.
Tenta also wrestled for WCW as Avalanche and The Shark from 1994-1997 and then returned again in 1999.
Once confirmed by WWE, the Natural Disasters will join Triple H and Michelle McCool as the inductees that have been announced so far.
The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place during WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.
