During commentary on this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Excalibur noted on commentary, the Beach Break themed shows of Dynamite and Collison next month would be a “four-hour live special.” However, the TBS and TNT schedules indicate otherwise, which has led to confusion if the shows would air back-to-back the same night.
It has been confirmed to POST Wrestling the Beach Break themed episodes will air over two nights. The live Dynamite will air on Wednesday, May 14 on TBS and Max and then a taped episode of Collision will air on Saturday, May 17 on TNT and Max. Both shows will take place from the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Jon Moxley is set to defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe on the Dynamite Beach Break episode.
AEW will be airing a live four-block of programming on June 4 with a Fyter Fest themed special from the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado. Then on June 11, AEW is airing another four-hour special billed as Summer Blockbuster from the Theater of the Clouds located within the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
