During his appearance on the most recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin commented on the ATV crash at WrestleMania 41 Night 2. As Austin was driving around the ring, he his LED barricade, knocking over a fan, causing her to land backwards.
Austin noted that that particular ATV had a different throttle set up that what he is normally used to.
“Different throttle setup than what I’m normally used to. Long story short, just a different throttle system because I’m pretty damn handy on a on a four wheeler.”
When asked if there was any aftereffects as a result of the incident, Austin said there was not and that he was embarrassed about it.
“No, just I was embarrassed about it. I think everybody’s ok, but I mean, you go out there on the biggest night in wrestling, and you end up like that, it’s not the greatest day at the office. You go out there and you want to give people the best show that you can and when you fall short of that, it’s not great.”
WWE President Nick Khan was seen briefly seen on camera checking on the women that was knocked over. Austin also went over checked on her and apologized for the accident. Fans in attendance also captured footage and images of the crash with Khan standing at ringside tending to the fan.
