Liv Morgan’s film role has been revealed.
According to an exclusive from Deadline, Morgan will star in Neon’s Bad Lieutenant: Toyko, which is scheduled to start production in May.
Takashi Miike (Audition, 13 Assassins) is set to direct the thriller, which will also star Shun Oguri (Godzilla v. Kong, No Longer Human) and Lily James (Pam and Tommy, Yesterday).
Deadline also notes the film will be a U.S.-Japan co-production. Neon International will launch foreign sales at the Cannes Film Festival market.
The Synopsis of the film, is the Bad Lieutenant (Oguri), who is a corrupt gambler in the Metropolitan Police Force finds himself thrown into a tangled case after an enigmatic FBI agent (James) arrives in Tokyo to investigate the disappearance of a politician’s daughter (Morgan). Meanwhile, a deviant killer operating in the yakuza underworld seems to be shadowing their moves.
Morgan is currently one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Raquel Rodriguez.
