Last Friday May, 2, 2025 Dr. Carlon Colker of Peak Wellness filed a 41-page defamation lawsuit against Janel Grant’s attorney, Ann Callis and the Holland Law Firm.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court of Connecticut, accuses the firm of defaming him and the Peak Wellness Clinic in press releases which were sent to media and statements in Callis’ firm made during a previous press conference that aired live via YouTube. Colker is seeking financial penalties for actual harm, alleging that Callis and her firm distributed false information about himself and the Peak Wellness Clinic.
Grant’s January 2024 lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis alleges sexual abuse, sex trafficking and workplace misconduct. Grant’s lawyers argue Colker and Peak Wellness administered unapproved treatments for unidentified drugs, which allowed McMahon to have control over her. Furthermore, Callis claims in the suit that Peak Wellness failed to provide all records related to the type of treatment Grant was given.
At the time of this writing, Callis has not responded to Colker’s lawsuit.
