Former long-time on-screen WWE personality Jonathan Coachman took to social media, criticizing WWE for pulling WrestleMania 42 out of New Orleans, for a bigger pay-day.

News broke on Thursday that WWE pulled its plans to hold WrestleMania 42 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Anthony Mcauley of NOLA.com indicated that the top leadership within WWE had decided the company would rather hold WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, again returning to the city that hosted this year’s big two-night event.
WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced on Friday that New Orleans will instead get Money in the Bank on Saturday, August 29, 2026 and a future WrestleMania, with the date to be announced at a later time.
