According to Fightful Select, despite apparent speculation, Asuka is not back with WWE and continues to remains out of action for what is now a year.
The report notes that after speaking with sources, Asuka still has not been medically cleared to return. It was added that at the time of her injury, she was expected to be out of action for the rest of 2024 and would possibly miss WrestleMania. Furthermore, at this time, there are no creative plans for her during her ongoing recovery period.
Fightful Select concludes noting that there was however, creative discussions which did take place earlier this year pertaining to her eventual return, with one source saying that creative had talking about a surprise return, still knowing there was a small chance she would be back in time for WrestleMania.
