Michelle McCool, The Undertaker discuss heart surgery following WrestleMania 41

The most recent edition of Six Feet Under saw The Undertaker talk with his wife Michelle McCool about a heart issue that persisted throughout the week of WrestleMania 41.

Discussing the heart surgery needed after he returned home, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed he was not supposed to go to Las Vegas despite plans to induct McCool into the Hall of Fame and appear at WWE World.

McCool responded:

You weren’t supposed to go anywhere. You didn’t want me to tell anybody. Not fair to me, not fair. We were in the hospital for four nights two weeks before WrestleMania. Yeah, you weren’t supposed to go. I’m not mad at it because I’d probably be the same [way], but it was terrifying, I couldn’t focus on anything else.

All I wanted to focus on was you, your heart, and getting you in with the best cardiologist, which we eventually did but that took a lot of phone calls. Several nights in the hospital. By the grace of god you are here, but out of the words of the doctor himself, it could’ve turned out badly had we not found it that day.

After detailing the information shared with them in a later appointment, the pair went on to note that Taker’s heart issues have been resolved at this point.

McCool and The Undertaker will be featured as coaches in WWE LFG season 2, premiering June 22 on A&E.
