AEW CEO, President and General Manager Tony Khan announced on social media on Saturday, Adam Cole is injured and is not medically cleared to compete at All In Texas.
As a result of Cole’s injury, he has vacated the TNT Championship. In the video, Khan did not specify Cole’s injury, but said that Cole wants to take some time away to recover. Cole wrestled in a trios match on this past Thursday’s special live episode of Collision on TNT and HBO Max. Cole held the TNT Title for 97 days and only made three title defenses.
A new champion will be determined in a four-way match with Kyle Fletcher, Dustin Rhodes and former TNT Champions Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara. Cole was originally set to defend the title one-on-one against Fletcher.
Cole was out of action from September 2023 through October 2024 due to an ankle injury at Grand Slam Dynamite in 2023, after he leaped off the stage, running to ring to cheer on MJF in his match against Samoa Joe. That injury required two surgeries. Cole was also out of action from June 2022 through March 2023, after suffering a concussion at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

According to Fightful Select, WWE Hall of Famer Sting and Bryan Danielson are backstage at All In. Sting lives in Texas. It has been speculated for several months that Sting, who is under a legends type-deal, would be making an appearance at the event. There is no confirmation if both men will have an on-screen role.
