WWE Celebrity Hall of Famer Ozzy Osbourne passes away at age 76

Wrestleview is sad to report, per TMZ, that WWE Celebrity Hall of Famer, Ozzy Osbourne, who was also the founder of the legendary rock group Black Sabbath, has passed away at age 76.

Osbourne appeared at WWF/E WrestleMania 2 in the corner of The British Bulldogs when they defeated Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake for the World Tag Team Championships.

Ozzy and his wife Sharon were guest hosts of the November 2, 2009 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. WWE used Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” as the official theme for the 2022 Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.

In a statement to TMZ, the Osbourne family noted, Ozzy passed away, “surrounded by love.”

At the time of the report, no cause of death was made available.
