Report: Hulk Hogan docuseries ‘in the works since 2024’ with Netflix

Matthew Belloni has reported that a docuseries focused on the late Hulk Hogan has been in the works since 2024, making note in his newsletter of the interviews that were already recorded for the project:

The Hulkster died mid-documentary: Hulk Hogan, who died today at 71, will be remembered for mainstreaming pro wrestling and bringing down Gawker. He also left behind an unfinished docuseries on his life that Netflix has quietly been working on since last year, per sources. Director Bryan Storkel and producer Connor Schell’s Words + Pictures have been collaborating with WWE and Hogan on the multipart series, which will include more than 20 hours of new interviews with Hogan that were shot before his passing. There’s no release date yet.

The series marks the latest project in the partnership between WWE and Netflix, which kicked off on the January 6 edition of Raw making its debut on the streaming platform, a show that also featured Hogan’s final WWE appearance.

Further details have yet to be announced or confirmed as of this writing, as Netflix is set to premiere the series WWE: Untold on July 29.
