Brooke Hogan was noticeably absent from her dad tributes, which took place on last Friday’s SmackDown, this past Monday’s Raw and Tuesday’s NXT. However, Brooke’s brother, Nick was at their dad’s tribute on Raw.
Brooke posted on her Instagram Wednesday, that WWE did not invite her to any of her dad’s tributes.
“For those of you giving me crap for not attending my Dad’s tributes, @wwe did not extend an invite.”
Brooke had been estranged from her father since 2023. However, she recently posted a statement on her dad’s passing, which included saying how much she loved him, despite the two not talking and that their bond was never broken.
TMZ Sports reported on Tuesday that Brooke asked to be removed from her father’s will in 2023, and therefore will not receive anything from the estate. The report notes sources told TMZ Sports the reason Brooke asked to be removed is because doesn’t trust anyone around her dad and doesn’t want to ger caught up in any financial battles when he passes away.
The report also notes that Brooke’s intent was only to protect her dad from people she felt were taking advantage of him. However, following years of disagreements she had with her dad over the situation, she reached out to his financial manager and requested she be taken off the will. It was added that Brooke was more about trust than wanting any of her father’s money.
However, despite being removed from her dad’s will, as one of the beneficiaries of a small life insurance trust her dad took out, she will receive a small amount of money. Brooke says she is grateful for it and plans to put it toward her kids’ college funds.
