Hulk Hogan’s cause of death revealed, records also show history of leukemia

According to an exclusive report by Page Six, Hulk Hogan’s cause of death, per the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, was from acute myocardial infarction, which is commonly known as a heart attack. This is when the blood flow to the heart muscle suddenly becomes blocked, causing tissue damage.

In addition, the records also show Hogan had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), which is a heart condition characterized by an irregular and often rapid heart rate. Furthermore, these same records further indicate the WWE Hall of Famer also had a history of leukemia CLL, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells called lymphocytes. There has been no public knowledge that Hogan was diagnosed with cancer or had been battling the disease.

Page Six notes also adds that per the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, Hogan’s cause of death was ruled as natural.

A spokesperson for the medical examiner’s office told Page Six, that they received a request for Hogan’s body to be cremated, but no date has been set yet.

Hogan (real name Terry Bollea), passed away at age 71 on July 24 due to cardiac arrest.
