WWE reportedly considering two WrestleMania events in 2027

A report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that WWE is actively exploring the idea of bringing WrestleMania, the company’s biggest annual event, to Saudi Arabia.

If finalized, this would mark the first time two WrestleMania events were held within a single year, setting aside the string of two-night affairs taking place since WrestleMania 36.

Sources in Saudi Arabia believe the country is being targeted to host the event in 2027, with reports also stating that the country is pushing for The Rock to headline the event.

The potential second WrestleMania makes for the latest event slated as part of the long-term partnership between WWE and Saudi Arabia, which has already seen several high-profile events in the country ahead of the 2026 edition of the Royal Rumble.

While a United States location has yet to be announced by WWE for the 2027 event, WrestleMania 42 is currently set to take place on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 as it returns to Las Vegas in 2026.
