AEW Champion reportedly signs multi-year “big money deal”

According to Fightful Select, current TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher reportedly signed a multi-year “big money deal” with AEW this past spring. It was also said the deal was especially in relation to Fletcher’s age, as he is only 26-years old.

The news was reported following Fletcher’s first successful TNT Championship defense against Tomohiro Ishii on Saturday live episode of Collision. Fletcher won the title after he defeated Dustin Rhodes, in a brutal street-fight on last week’s special Thursday episode.

Fletcher first signed with AEW in 2022, coming in with his tag team partner Mark Davis – as Assuie Open. His rise to singles stardom in AEW began after WrestleDream 2023, following Davis’ wrist injury, which took him out of action for an extended period of time.
