Update on WWE’s Liv Morgan

According to a report from PWInsider Elite, WWE’s Liv Morgan Morgan is scheduled for a new evaluation as it pertains to her shoulder. Morgan underwent surgery for her right shoulder at the end June.

The report notes the internal hope within WWE is Morgan will be able to return to action at the beginning of 2026, as long as everything continues to be on schedule. Morgan’s injury back on the May 16 episode of Raw, just after the start of her match against Kairi Sane, as Morgan was taken down with a dragon screw, landing awkwardly on her shoulder. Morgan then immediately rolled out of the ring, grabbing her shoulder. The ringside doctor checked on Morgan and the match was stopped with the win awarded to Sane.

Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at the time of of the injury. Roxanne Perez was put in Morgan’s place. However, Rodriguez and Perez lost the belts to Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss at Night One of SummerSlam.

Morgan is also a 2022 Women’s Money in the Bank Winner, a two-time Women’s World Champion and the inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.
