Ohio awards sizeable tax credits to AEW and WWE

According to a report from Cleveland.com, the state of Ohio has awarded AEW and WWE sizeable tax credits for producing their respective shows in the Buckeye state.

AEW has received $2,134,560 in tax credits for shows produced in Cleveland. This amount is for the 2025-26. WWE, which has also held events in Cleveland, has been given $1,096,941 in tax credits. The amount is also for 2025-26.

AEW’s most recent event in Cleveland was back on August 6 at the Wolstein Center, for an episode of Dynamite. WWE held an episode of SmackDown back on July 25 at the Rocket Arena.
