WWE Shop has spoiled the big return of former Divas Champion AJ Lee to WWE, in what is now a deleted post on X.
Wrestling Daze tagged WWE Shop, asking where the AJ Lee Merchandise is and what they will wear on Friday’s SmackDown when Lee returns. WWE Shop then responded with the following:
“Hey there! Of course we wouldn’t expect that. With AJ Lee’s return to the ring, we are looking to have some [fire] gear hopefully in time for Wrestlepalooza. Be sure you’re signed up for emails and get the latest updates on new live inventory. Happy shopping!”
It has been heavily reported that Lee is expected to return to WWE television this Friday at SmackDown at the Allstate Arena just outside of Chicago, alongside her husband CM Punk.
Lee has been absence from the ring for 10-years and last appeared on WWE programming back in March 2015. Lee’s planned return to the ring is set to be in a mixed tag team match at WWE’s first PLE on ESPN – Wrestlepaolooza, set for Saturday, September 20. WWE has been teasing her return on TV with angles done at the end of last Saturday’s Clash in Paris and then another on Monday’s Raw.
