The main event of tonight’s WWE x AAA event Worlds Collide saw the AAA Mega Championship on the line, as El Hijo del Vikingo defended against Dominik Mysterio.
The match reached its climax after assistance from the likes of Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano led to Dominik donning his entrance mask for a running headbutt and a Frog Splash to win the title.
The current WWE Intercontinental Champion now joins his WWE Hall of Fame father in being a champion for AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide, as Rey once held the Mexican National Welterweight Championship prior to its transfer to CMLL.
