PWInsider Elite has reported that a number of talents from WWE Raw and NXT have been spotted in Cincinnati ahead of tonight’s SmackDown.
Representing the “red brand” is Stephanie Vaquer, with the Women’s World Champion confirmed to be in town for the taping ahead of her match against WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton.
NXT’s Je’Von Evans is also backstage, following his high-profile match against Sami Zayn last week in the United States Championship Open Challenge.
Rounding out the NXT representation is WWE Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca, her tag team partner Zaria, and several members of the NXT stable DarkState.
Ruca and Zaria confronted WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair last week on SmackDown, and DarkState is set to face The Hardys in a “Winner Take All” tag title match at NXT Showdown.
It is unclear what role the talents will have on tonight’s show, as of this writing.
WWE is currently advertising the following for SmackDown, emanating from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio:
