-Original Report (10/6/25)
According to a new report from Fightful Select, former WWE World Tag Team Champion and New Day member, Xavier Woods signed a multi-year extension with WWE last month.
The report notes that negotiations went down to the wire, as his deal was said to be ending in September.
Woods, Big E, and Kofi Kingston all signed five-year contracts with WWE back in December 2019. However, it was not confirmed, but WWE may have added some injury time to Woods’ previous contract, which would have moved back his actual expiration date. Woods was out for most of 2020 after he had ruptured his Achilles tendon.
The report did not provide any details on the contract status of Woods’ long-time tag team partner Kofi Kingston.
