We cut to highlights of last week’s show where Hulk Hogan had his moustache shaved off.
Roy’s thoughts: Sting was always my favorite WCW wrestler. A short match but it got the fans going. You’ll never see anyone win with a cross body these days. Also, crazy how in the 1990s you had names like Shark for a wrestler.

Roy’s thoughts: Not a bad match but similar to Shark, not sure what kind of a name Mr. J. L. is but WCW had that name.
We cut to the annouunce team and back to the ring. Mene Gene Okerlund is in the ring with Sting and Lex Luger. Sting says he has the solution to the problem but one thing missing is the Macho Man. As he is talking, Randy Savage’s music hits and out he comes. Sting gets in between Savage and Luger in the ring.
Sting says The Giant is winning the game. He has chokeslamed Hogan, Luger and Savage. As he is talking, Savage says how come The Giant has done all of that but he has not chokeslamed Sting. He asks Sting why that is and Sting says Savage is paranoid and he has no idea why the Giant hasn’t chokeslamed him.
He says everyone wants to be WCW Champion. At Halloween Havoc, Luger is facing Meng and Savage is facing Kamala. If Luger and Savage both win, they can go at it. Savage says he likes it. Luger says he agreed to a rematch but he never agreed to this.
Sting says that is pathetic. He says Luger does not look like the Total Package. He has been sticking up for him but he is tired of it. He is tired of being a babysitter. He asks Luger if he is up to the match against Macho Man. Luger tells Sting that he is talking to the total package and not to forget it.
Luger says he will take care of business at Halloween Havoc and he will see if Savage can do the same. Luger leaves the ring and Savage says he will take care of it and he will see him.
Roy’s thoughts: Sting was great here. Luger was never the greatest on the microphone but this was all Sting and Randy Savage.

Winner: By count out, Big Bubba Rogers
Roy’s thoughts: Not much of a match here. I forgot Hawk was in WCW this early too. And Disco Inferno with another episode where he dances during someone’s entrance.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Mene Gene Okerlund is in the ring and out comes Hulk Hogan, wearing a neck brace with Jimmy Hart. Hogan and Hart are both dressed in all black. Hogan tells them both to stay silent. He says he is wearing black because the games are over. Now that he knows the rules of the game, now that Kevin Sullivan and The Giant have to face Hulkamania, he will play their game. Just like he bodyslammed Andre The Giant at the Pontiac Silverdome and beat him, if his son, the Giant has the guts to come out now, he will rip the neck brace off and he will beat him in the ring.
Okerlund says that won’t happen because there is a restraining order. Hogan says a long time ago, in the New York City area, when Hulkamania was running wild, the promoter’s ego got big and Hogan pulled out of it. The promoter is dying and choking on his own ego. He says he is looking to grow his Hulkamaniacs and that is why he is in WCW. And The Giant wants to chop the little Hulkamaniacs down. Okerlund says The Giant is not there tonight. Hogan says when he gets The Giant at Halloween Havoc, he will put him in his place.
We see a monster truck followed by a police car arriving to the arena. The Giant is in a monster truck. Hogan says to get him in the building. Okerlund says The Giant won’t be allowed inside. Hogan says if The Giant won’t get in the building, he will go to the outside.
Roy’s thoughts: I think this was the first time that anyone in WCW mentioned that the Giant was Andre’s son. And they didn’t even make a fuss about it either. As for the promo, I’m not sold yet on the Monster truck thing but they have done very well here in making the Giant an actual threat to Hogan.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, we cut to the announce table and in come two police offers. They whisper something in Eric’s air. Bischoff says they are keeping Hogan and The Giant apart. They have a lot of police officers outside.

He begins to climb the cage but Flair gets to the top rope and he hits Flyin Brian down and he falls to the outside. Flair with a double axe off the top rope onto Arn. Flair goes for a Figure Four but Arn with a right hand. Arn goes for the cover and he gets the pin.
Winner: Arn Anderson
Eric Bischoff says that Arn had something in his hands but Arn leaves the ring and he celebrates with Flyin Brian. We see the replay and Arn had brass knuckles when he hit Flair in the face. In comes Flair and he grabs the headset from Bischoff. He says next week, he wants to face them both. And if he doesn’t find a tag team partner, he will take them both on. Flair gives Bischoff his headset and walks away. Bischoff asks what is going on with Hogan. McMichael says that Hogan will use any means necessary, Hogan is on a mission. Heenan says it is very simple. He has had enough of Hogan shoved down his throat during the years and so have the wrestlers. He says The Taskmaster, The Giant and The Zodiac will put an end to it.
Bischoff talks about Halloween Havoc and how Luger and Savage will both have matches. McMichael says there is so much happening on Halloween Havoc. Bischoff says to be there next week. Diamond Dallas Page against Johnny B Bad, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Haksaw Jim Duggan and Meng will also be on the show.
Roy’s thoughts: Not a bad main event but this was all about Flair’s promo after the match. Him challenging Arn and Brian to a tag team match or even a handicap match.
