Seth Rollins removed from this weekend’s WWE live events in Japan

According to the current ticket listing on I-tike.com, Seth Rollins has been removed from the October 17 and 18 WWE Supershows at Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Arena in Sumida, Japan.

Rollins was originally scheduled to have a match against CM Punk on October 17, then team with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to face Punk, Jey Uso and Shinsuke Nakamura on the October 18 show. The updated lineups now lists Punk as taking on Dominik Mysterio on 17th and then Punk and Nakamura vs. Breakker and Reed on the 18th.

As reported on Tuesday by PWInsider Elite, the belief at this time, is that Rollins may have suffered a shoulder injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at the Crown Jewel PLE in Perth, Australia, last Saturday. Rollins hit Cody Rhodes with the coast-to-coast headbutt, bracing the fall with his left arm. It was also mentioned, there are some in WWE reportedly worried Rollins may require shoulder or rotator cuff surgery, while others are taking a “wait and see” approach, considering the fake knee injury angle that Rollins was involved in this past July during his match against LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

WWE did an angle at the very end of this past Monday’s Raw in Perth, with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turning on Rollins. Breakker hit Rollins with a spear. Reed then followed up with a Tsunami on Rollins that brought the show to a close.
