Bobby Horne, best known as ‘Sir Mo’ in WWE, has passed away

Wrestleview is sad to report that Bobby Horne, best known in WWE as Mo of Men on a Mission, has passed away at the age of 58.

Horne reportedly had been dealing with a severe blood infection along with pneumonia. He underwent a kidney transplant back in 2018 and then contracted COVID-19 in 2022.

Horne began his professional wrestling career in 1991, teaming up with Nelson Frazier, who was later known as Viscera and Big Daddy V. In 1993, WWE signed Mo and Frazier to a contract and then repackaged them as Men on a Mission under the in-ring names of Mo and Mabel.

Mo and Mabel also had a brief run with the WWE Tag Team Championships after defeating The Quebecers at a house show on March 29, 1994, only to lose them two days later in a rematch. Mo and Mabel were managed by Oscar, who would rap on his way to the ring.

In 1995, Mo and Mabel turned heel on Oscar, following Mabel’s King Of The Ring win that same year. Horne was then given the name ‘Sir Mo,’ serving as Mabel’s manager.

Horne left WWE in 1996 and retired from pro wrestling in 2007.

Wrestleview sends its condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Bobby Horne.
