The legendary WCW Nitro intro airs and we cut to the announce team.

McMichael has his chihuahua dressed in red and he says that there are a lot of clowns, one of them being Jimmy Hart and the dog is dressed like him. A graphic is on the air and fans get to call and pick the main event for the show. There is the red locker room with several WCW superstars and the blue locker room with superstars.

Out comes Cobra for the first match of the night.

Cobra vs. The Giant with Jimmy Hart

The bell rings and we are under way. The Giant with the Chokeslam onto Cobra. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: The Giant

We cut to Gene Okerlund who is backstage with WCW superstars and they are arguing. The graphic cuts to Tony Schiavone in the other locker room.

Roy’s thoughts: These squash matches were so much fun.

-Commercial Break-

A commercial for World War 3 airs.

We cut to the beach and Hulk Hogan is with Randy Savage. Hogan says they are back in Venice Beach, they replaced Jimmy Hart and the Macho Man is with him too. Savage tells him they are in it for ever and ever. Savage says they got rid of his mustache, they took his World title but they have to divide and conquer. He says Hogan should take the low road and he will take the high road.

Back in the arena, out comes Kevin Sullivan with Jimmy Hart for the match.

Kevin Sullivan with Jimmy Hart vs. The Renegade

Sullivan is in the ring and Renegade runs to the ring as the bell rings and we are under way. Renegade with a clothesline. He runs to the ropes and clotheslines Sullivan to the outside of the ring. Renegade to the outside and Jimmy Hart distracts him as Sullivan hits him with a clothesline from behind. Sullivan lifts him up and drops him groin first onto the top of the barricade. Sullivan slams him head first into the ring steps. He throws Renegade back into the ring. Sullivan with a right hand. He climbs the second rope and jumps onto Renegade. Sullivan hits him with a knee to the face. Sullivan with right hands followed by a headbutt. Sullivan on the ring apron and he slams Renegade face first into the top turnbuckle. Sullivan jumps over the top rope but Renegade gets his knees up. Renegade with a powerslam. He lands an acrobatic elbow onto Sullivan in the corner. Renegade goes for a knee to the face but Sullivan moves out of the way and Renegade is in a tree of woe. Sullivan with a running knee to the face. Sullivan climbs the top rope and he jumps onto Renegade. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Kevin Sullivan

Jimmy Hart gets in the ring and he throws water onto Renegade and removes the face paint off Renegade’s face.

We cut to backstage and Okerlund is in the locker room. Flair says he told Sting last week that if he didn’t like it, to do something about it. Okerlund cuts him off and tells the fans to call the number to vote.

Roy’s thoughts: The Renegade really was WCW’s version of the Ultimate Warrior. These short television matches are very different from the television matches we get these days.

-Commercial Break-

Eric Bischoff runs through the WCW Saturday Night card.

Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero

The bell rings and we are under way. Benoit with a back elbow to the face. He lands a snap suplex. Benoit with a chop to the chest followed by a back suplex. Guerrero to the ropes and Benoit with a modified spine buster followed by a modified Boston crab. Guerrero rolls out of it and the camera cuts to people sitting eating sushi. Bischoff and Heenan say that they are from Japan. Bischoff asks Heenan what they are doing here.

Back in the ring, Guerrero with an arm drag followed by a tilt-a-whirl slam. Benoit to the ropes and Guerrero with a running elbow to the face. Benoit to the outside and Guerrero climbs the top rope. He lands a splash onto Benoit. Guerrero throws Benoit back into the ring and lands a brainbuster. Guerrero climbs the top rope but Benoit gets to his feet. He hits Guerrero with a right hand. Benoit to the top rope and he lands a superplex. Benoit goes for the cover but Guerrero kicks out. Benoit with a powerbomb. He goes for the cover but Guerrero kicks out. Benoit with a clothesline and he throws Guerrero to the ropes but Guerrero roll shim up but Benoit kicks out. Benoit with a kick. He throws Guerrero to the ropes and Guerrero rolls him up but Benoit kicks out. Benoit with a German suplex and he goes for the cover but Guerrero kicks out. Benoit with a northern lights suplex and he goes for the cover but Guerrero kicks out. Benoit grabs Guerrero but Guerrero gets to the ropes. Benoit lifts Guerrero up and drops him onto the ring apron. Benoit goes for a suplex but Guerrero with right hands and both men with right hands. Benoit lifts Guerrero up but Guerrero falls on top of Benoit. He goes for the cover and with Benoit’s legs under the ropes, the referee does not see it and Guerrero gets the pin.

Winner: Eddie Guerrero

Chris Benoit argues with the referee as we cut to the back.

Roy’s thoughts: When there is a match involving these two, it’s always the best match of the show. I won’t say more.

Tony Schiavone is backstage with the wrestlers and he tells the fans to call the number. Sting tells Tony that Flair used little Stinger’s and you don’t do that. He says he doesn’t like Flair, he hates him and he is going to do something about it.

WCW Fall Brawl War Games 1995 is in video stores everywhere November 7.

We cut to the announce team and Heenan is drinking safe from his Japanese friends.

WCW United States Championship Match – Sting (c) vs. Ric Flair

As Flair is on the ring apron, Sting throws him into the ring and he hits him with right hands. Sting with a gorilla press slam. Flair in the corner and Sting climbs the second rope and he hits Flair with right hands. He throws Flair to the turnbuckle as Flair flips over and lands on the ring apron. Sting with a clothesline and Flair falls to the outside of the ring. Sting throws Flair into the barricade. Flair with a chop to the chest but Sting stays standing. Sting with a right hand and he throws Flair into the barricade. Flair with a rake to the eyes and he suplexes Sting on the outside. Flair struts but Sting gets to his feet. Sting goes for a splash but Flair moves out of the way and Sting hits the barricade.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Flair with right hands in the ring followed by a kick. Flair with a back suplex and he gets Sting in the Figure Four Leg Lock. The referee looks at Sting and Flair grabs the ropes for leverage. Sting pulls Flair in his direction and Sting punches his chest. Sting reverses the Figure Four Leg Lock but Flair lets go of the hold. Flair to the ropes and he kicks Sting but Sting stays standing. Flair with chops and right hands but Sting tells him to hit him some more. Sting with a gorilla press. He throws Flair across the ring and lands a drop kick. Flair with a poke to the eyes and he throws Sting to the outside of the ring. Flair gets on the ring apron and he lands a double axe. Flair with a chop to the chest followed by a rake to the eyes. The referee breaks it up and Flair grabs a steel chair. The referee grabs it from Flair and Flair pushes the referee but the referee pushes Flair back. Both men roll back into the ring and Bischoff says he is being told that they have a special announcement after the match. Flair with a right hand. He goes for the cover and he puts his feet on the ropes but Sting kicks out. Flair with a headlock take down cover but Sting bridges out of it. Sting with a crucifix cover but Flair kicks out. Flair with a poke to the eyes and he climbs the top rope. Flair with a right hand and Sting with a gorilla press and Flair falls to the mat. Sting with a right hand but the referee breaks it up. Sting lifts the referee up and places him on the top rope. Flair grabs something from his tights and hits Sting with it. Flair with an elbow drop. He goes for the cover but Sting kicks out. He throws Sting to the ropes and lands a chop to the chest but Sting on his feet. Flair with more right hands and chops but Sting throws him to the ropes and gorilla presses him. Sting places Flair on the top rope and Sting climbs the top rope. Sting with a superplex. Sting with the Scorpion Death Lock and Flair taps out.

Winner: Still WCW United States Champion, Sting

The referee tries to break it up but Sting is not letting go. WCW referees run down to the ring, Eddie Guerrero and JL get in the ring and they try to break it up. Sting is not letting go of it and the bell continues to ring. More WCW wrestlers come out and they break it up. Sting leaves the ring and looks at Flair. Sting gets back in the ring and he gets Flair in the Figure Four.

Out comes Lex Luger and he gets in Sting’s face. Sting lets go of the hold and both men are face to face. Luger and Sting leave the ring together as the WCW wrestlers in the ring are confused.

Roy’s thoughts: Not the best match between Sting and Ric Flair but everyone was excited for it. They kept talking about it all night and the excitement we got was more than we sometimes get in modern wrestling.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Okerlund in the ring with Kevin Sullivan, The Giant and Jimmy Hart. Okerlund says The Giant is not the Champion. Jimmy Hart says when Hogan was out in Hollywood, California making all those B-Grade movies, he was taking care of business. Hart says he has the power of attorney.

Jimmy Hart says he signed the contract for the match between The Giant and Hulk Hogan. But when he signed it, there was a stipulation and it said that if Hogan got disqualified during that match, he would lose the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Sullivan says it was not their fault that Hogan lost the match. Out comes someone from the WCW legal team to the ring and he says Jimmy Hart is partially correct. He did have Hogan’s power of attorney. But The Giant is not the World Champion. He has been on the phone with WCW commissioner Nick Bockwinkel and he has confirmed with the WCW commissioners. They came up with a statement and they have determined that the winner of the three ring, 60 man battle royal at World War 3 will become the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy Hart are angry in the ring and they try to take the title away from The Giant but The Giant says he won the belt, it is his. Sullivan says this is another one of WCW and Hulk Hogan’s agenda. Sullivan says to take the belt and he asks if anyone can beat The Giant. Kevin Sullivan gives him the World title. He says when The Giant wins it back, he will have to hand it back.

We cut to the announce team and they talk about World War 3 and next week’s card as Nitro goes off the air.

Roy’s thoughts: They just made the main event for World War 3 more interesting. They had to come up with a way to get the belt off of The Giant and this was not a bad way. A fun show with some short matches but a lot of stars.
