According to a report from lvsportsbiz.com, WWE is set to receive up to $6 million for WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in April 2026.
The publication indicates the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) board is expected to approve the expenditure during it’s monthly meeting this coming Wednesday. It was also added Board members typically don’t ask questions when it comes to the board spending money.
LVCVA CEO Steve Hill told lvsportsbiz he loves WrestleMania. During past board meetings, he spoke about how the big two-night event benefits Las Vegas and was happy when he told the LVCVA board WWE was bringing their biggest event of the year back to Las Vegas for a second year in a row.
The LVCVA is the public tourism agency for Las Vegas, which collects revenue from hotel room fees and then turns around and spends it to promote the hospitality industry for the city.
WrestleMania 42 will take place on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026.
