During Saturday Night’s live episode of AEW Collision, the company announced that Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and Ric Flair will make an appearance at Blood & Guts, which emanates from the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Steamboat and Flair, who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame of several organizations in pro wrestling, shared a number of battles against each other in the city in the 1980s.
The pair last appeared for the company at Revolution 2024, which also took place in Greensboro, as they served different roles within Sting’s final match.
As of this writing, AEW is promoting the following for Blood & Guts on Wednesday, November 12:
- Men’s Blood & Guts: Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and PAC) vs. Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, and Mark Briscoe
- Women’s Blood & Guts: Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue), Mercedes Moné, Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne vs. Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron
- Falls Count Anywhere: Hangman Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
- Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat to appear
