MLSE says new partnership with WWE doesn’t prevent AEW or other events in their venues

TSN’s Steve Argintaru took to social, noting that he specifically asked if MLSE’s (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment) new partnership with WWE would prevent AEW from running events in the MLSE owned venues. Argintaru said he was told by an MLSE spokesperson the new agreement will not prevent other events from taking place in their venues.

AEW has held previous events at MLSE owned venues in Toronto – the Scotiabank Arena and Coca-Cola Coliseum. with the All Out pay-per-view at the Scotiabank Arena back on September 20.

WWE and MLSE announced a new long-term strategic partnership on Wednesday that includes exclusive merchandise collaborations, original content development, community-focused programs and regular cross-brand appearances from team players and WWE Superstars.
