Mystery appearance leads to WarGames victory at WWE Survivor Series

A mystery man imitating the moves of Seth Rollins moves helped The Vision (Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar) get the victory over CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jimmy and Jey Uso and Roman Reigns in the men’s WarGames Match at Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series PLE at Petco Park in San Diego.

CM Punk hit a GTS on Logan Paul for a near-fall when suddenly a masked man completely dressed in black entered from the top of the cage, looked at Punk who had a confused look on his face, hit him with a big superkick and then and a stomp. The mystery man then left on opposite side of the cage, allowing Bron Breakker to connect on Punk with his running spear making the cover for the win.

The commentary team consisting of Michael Cole and Wade Barrett speculated the mystery man looked to be Seth Rollins. However, Barrett repeatedly noted Rollins just had shoulder surgery. Cole then said that Paul Heyman always has a plan.

According to a report from PWInsider Elite and Fightful Select, the mystery person is Austin Theory.

Back on the July 21 episode of Raw, Grayson Waller aligned himself with The New Day, after it had been reported Theory was going to be out of action due to a legitimate injury, quietly disbanding A-Town Down Under. Then on August 6, several media outlets reported Theory was removed from WWE’s internal roster, leaving his future with the company unknown.
