Ric Flair has taken to social media regarding his previous statement during an interview with DOUBL3 COVERAGE, citing “street drugs” played a part in Hulk passing. Flair had then later clarified his comments, stating he that he was repeating what he knew to be a fact through family members.
Flair’s latest statement notes that he got “bad Information” and that he “should have never mentioned it.” Flair then suggested to preserve Hogan’s legacy, “rather than dwell on any negative energy.”
Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily previously stated the only changes to Hogan’s medication came following a neck procedure, ensuring that it did not impact his lungs and noted that Hogan was under constant care by the Morton Plant Hospital in Florida, so Flair had to have been either misinformed or misunderstood.
