During his appearance on the latest episode of On My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, current WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk said that he has been offered a directing job in film and television.
“It’s been offered. It’s one of those things, a lot like writing comic books or fighting in the UFC where it was offered to me and it’s kind of unknown and scary, so now I have to do it. The V/H/S series is a pretty good way to get my feet wet in that regard. It’s definitely something that is more than likely going to happen within the next year. It got offered to me and I just went, ‘Why me?’ ‘Why not?’ ‘Okay.’ Now, I have to do this.”

Punk is also featured in the new film “Night Patrol,” which releases in theatres nationwide on Friday, January 16. He also successfully defended the World Heavyweight Title against Bron Breakker on this past Monday’s ‘Stranger Things’ episode of Raw.
