SPOILER: Major title change at WWE SmackDown in Berlin

*If you do not want to be spoiled, do not scroll down*

During Friday’s live episode of WWE SmackDown from the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany, Drew McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion, in the Three Stages of Hell Match.

Below is an excerpt from Alex Kahrs’ full WWE SmackDown recap of how the title change went down.

Both men are down until Cody crawls to the ropes, slowly making it back to his feet. He sees the end in sight and starts to climb up the side of the cage, until Drew comes after him and bites HIS leg in revenge! They battle it out on the side of the cage, slamming each other into it to see who will fall first. Cody manages to get to the top but is kept down by McIntyre, who continues to land shot after shot on the champ.

It comes to a halt when Drew gets dropped, the top rope colliding with his little claymores to force him to the mat. Cody ALSO gets dropped, landing on his little American nightmares as he falls to the canvas. Drew crawls toward the cage door as it gets opened…but waiting for him on the outside is someone in a mask and hoodie. That person reveals themselves…and it’s Jacob Fatu! We may have found out who attacked Fatu all those months ago, as he goes after McIntyre…until Cody seemingly tries to intervene.

This only makes Jacob MORE mad, as the Samoan Werewolf goes off on Rhodes sending him into the corner…which allows Drew to crawl through the cage door, landing on the floor with both feet touching! We have a new Undisputed WWE Champion!

SmackDown will air tonight on the USA Network via tape delay, beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
