Roy’s thoughts: They had Savage lose to Luger again. Interested in seeing where this goes, they have had these two in matches for a few matches but it’s still fun to watch.

-Commercial Break-

As the Dungeon of Doom are walking down to the ring, they grab Gene Okerlund. Out come the Four Horsemen behind them. Okerlund asks em what is going on because they are supposed to have a tag team match. Arn says he and Kevin Sullivan had a meeting of the minds. He says Ric Flair has always been and always will be the flagship of the Horsemen, they will respect, honor and protect that at all costs.

Arn says if there is no financial ends to the means, they don’t want to be part of it. He says this match or anything resembling it with the Dungeon of Doom has no financial gain. Sullivan tells Flair that he is probably the greatest World Champion of all time. He says he respects Flair, he respects him so much that at Clash of Champions, they will let him borrow The Giant.

Arn tells him that they are not afraid of them and they do respect them. Pillman says they are the Horsemen and they don’t fear anyone. Arn slaps him and tells him that he told him to shut up. He tells Sullivan that this is a business and they will run it like one. He tells him he has his word on that. Sullivan says that is good enough for them.

The Four Horsemen and The Dungeon of Doom leave the ring and we cut to the announce team. They talk about Arn slapping Pillman. Bischoff says they have a match.

Roy’s thoughts: I would think Pillman is about to get kicked out of the Four Horsemen and probably leave the company. Having Kevin Sullivan and the Dungeon of Doom having Ric Flair’s back is something. Especially with Flair as Champion and The Giant wanting to be Champion.

Roy’s thoughts: Not much in the match but that table spot after was crazy. We didn’t see much of that, if any, in the company.

Lex Luger gets in the ring and breaks up the figure four. Out come Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. They get in the ring but both Luger and Flair leave the ring. In comes Gene Okerlund. Sting gets to his feet and Hogan tells Okerlund hat opefully now Sting had some sense knocked into him. He tells Sting that Luger held Sting down at Starrcade. At Clash of the Champions, with Savage, they will take The Giant and Flair down. Hogan says he has been on a heck of a roll and as of tonight, this is the fourth time that Luger has beaten Savage.

Hogan says he should have the title shot next week but Savage had it first. Savage tells him he couldn’t be more wrong. He tells Hogan not to push him against the wall, Hogan knows him better than anyone. They gave him the title shot because he deserved it. He says he got beat but it’s in the cards for him to get another title shot at Las Vegas in Nitro. Hogan says they are on a roll, but he has a better chance. He says Savage’s arm is not 100% and he has the better chance. Savage tells him his arm is 100% and he will see him at Clash of th Champions.

Savage leaves the ring and Hogan follows him.

Roy’s thoughts: Not sure how this wasn’t the main event. Sting and Ric Flair are two of the biggest stars in the company along with Hulk Hogan but this wasn’t the last match. The match itself wasn’t bad but it was about everything after it. Hogan and Savage saying Luger cost Sting the match, Sting not remembering.

Winner: Hulk Hogan

We cut to the announce team and they talk about the match. Heenan asks what is happening between Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Eric Bischoff talks about next week’s show and how there will be a World Heavyweight Championship match as Nitro goes off the air.

Roy’s thoughts: They could have had this match go on before Flair and Sting for the title. As for the match, I mean it wasn’t very good but Savage came out to save Hogan in the end which was something they had spoken about before.

A fun show that was really all about the World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair, Sting, Lex Luger, Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage.
