Report: Current champion gaining reputation of being unsafe in the ring

According to a report from Fightful Select, Michin and B-Fab being injured while wrestling Jade Cargill during WWE’s Holiday Tour last month is said to have been a pattern that has not gone unnoticed backstage. It was also said that this has become a topic of discussion among the talent in the locker room as well.

The report also notes there is believed not to be any significant frustration or formal concern with Cargill by management and producers. However, it was further added they are seeing the injuries as a topic which is being watched closely and discussed internally, rather than a larger problem tied to Cargill.

After Cargill departed AEW following a three-year run that included a 508 day reign as the TBS Champion, she signed with WWE in September 2023 and reported to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. She made her in-ring debut at the 2024 Royal Rumble at entrant number 28. Back on the November 1, 2025 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton, ending her 302 day reign as the WWE Women’s Champion.

Cargill has held the Women’s Title for roughly three months and to date has yet to defend it on WWE television, having only defending it at WWE’s recent house show events.
