Saraya has posted in-ring training footage social media, ahead of Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble, causing speculation of the possibly that she could be a ‘surprise’ entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
Saraya’s final match in AEW was a 4-way Women’s World Title Eliminator on the October 8, 2024 episode of Dynamite. Saraya left AEW in March of 2025. She explained her departure on during an interview on the July 10, 2025 episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet. She said all she wanted to do was help elevate the women’s division, but felt like there was nothing for her to do in the company.
In June 2022, Saraya (Paige) announced her departure from WWE, as the company did not renew her contract, thus ending her 11-year run in the company. She is a former WWE Divas Champion, NXT Women’s Champion and AEW Women’s World Champion.
During a recent interview with TMZ, Harley Cameron, one half of AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions told TMZ that Saraya, who she see’s as one of her best friends, said that former WWE Divas Champion has been ” close-lipped about what’s coming next.”
