NXT’s on screen General Manager, Ava took to social media to announce her departure from WWE. Ava said it was her choice not to renew her contract with WWE. She also noted that her final appearance on NXT was this past Tuesday.
Ava (real name Simone Johnson), is the daughter of Dwayne Johnson.
She first began the role on NXT television back in January 2024. She initially signed a developmental deal with WWE back in February 2020.
Back on the On October 25, 2022, episode of NXT, Ave made her first televised appearance, revealing herself to be a member of Schism under the ring name Ava Raine. She then made her in-ring debut with Schism on April 1, 2022 at NXT Stand & Deliver.
