Report: WWE discussing new strategies on how to increase WrestleMania 42 ticket sales

A new report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE is reportedly held a multi-department meeting on Wednesday, discussing new strategies and ideas for increasing ticket sales for WrestleMania 42.

The report also noted tickets sales as of Wednesday are in the 36,000 distributed range per night, which is approximately 10,000 tickets per night behind as compared to this time last year. Last year’s event WrestleMania ended up having between 56,000-60,000 distributed per night (announced as 124,693 combined), which broke financial records for WWE. It was further said WWE plans to keep the ticket prices at what they are for the time being.

Furthermore, the report states one talking point as to why ticket sales could be slower, is due to concerns from those traveling internationally to the US as it pertains to the current political climate.

Fightful Select reported last week, the distributor of the WrestleMania 42 broadcasts informed a number of venues in Las Vegas they will not be able to air the huge two-day event, even if they pay the licensing fee. Fightful added this was further explained as a possible way to increase ticket sales.

At the time of this writing, ticket prices for WrestleMania 42 premium two-packages are as follows (per Onlocationexp.com):

-Elite Experiences: $37,500 pp

-Undertaker Suite: $8,500 pp

-Suite By The Suite: $5,995 pp

-Champion: $4,533 pp

-Gold: $4,537

-Silver: $1,823

WrestleMania 42 is Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 and will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada for the second year in a row.
