Emmy-winning actor attached to play WWE Hall of Famer in a limited TV series

During a recent interview with The Stunner, Emmy-winning actor and part-time pro wrestler Paul Walter Hauser has revealed he is attached to play WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley in a limited television series.

Walter-Hauser did note nothing has been marketed to a network or streaming service yet.

“We can kind of break that news. “I haven’t said it yet, but I’m attached to play Mick in a limited series. We haven’t gone out to market yet, but it’s happening.”

Hauser also went on to say the goal of the TV show is to focus on the human side of Foley, in addition to his pro wrestling career.

“Hopefully I can bring some of my personality to that aspect as well, because when you tell the story, you’ve got to humanize the guy. We’re not just telling the Mankind story. It’s like, no, this is the Mick Foley story.”

Walter-Hauser wrestled matches last year in MLW and ROH.
