A condensed version of the 2026 Royal Rumble is scheduled to air this Sunday, February 22, on ESPN. It is being said this is part of a bigger strategy to boost awareness for future WWE premium live events. Furthermore, it will give ESPN the opportunity to gauge metrics for the over-the-air presentation of WWE’s programming.
Sol Ruca is reportedly in line for a slight character refresh, as she looks to be potentially moving to the main roster. This includes new entrance theme music. The internal belief is she has done all she can do in NXT and that she may have run her course on that brand.
WWE is reportedly still interested in bringing back Bad Bunny. A source indicated WWE would “absolutely” welcome Bad Bunny at this year’s WrestleMania, even if it’s only for a special appearance rather than being involved in an actual match.
