Report: WWE signs several independent wrestlers to ID contracts

According to a new report from Fightful Select, WWE has signed new independent wrestlers to ID contracts.

The report also notes that several talents were revealed during an Evolve taping this past week. .

Notorious Mimi, using her old ring name Sloane Jacobs, was at the taping and it was also confirmed she is one of the ID contract signings. She appeared on the Apple TV Monster Factory show.

Valentina Rossi was also confirmed to be at the Evolve taping, using the in-ring name of Gianna Capri. Rossi wrestled in AEW as an enhancement talent between June 2021 and March 2023. She most recently appeared on the March 1 episode of ROH that aired on HonorClub.

Fallyn Gray has also been signed to an ID contract by WWE and will be going by the name of Veronica Haven.

In addition, according to BodySlam+, Airica Demia has also signed an ID contract and will be using the name of Anya Rune. Demia has already had title matches for the WWE ID Women’s Championship twice.

The reports added that all of the wrestlers mentioned appeared during the WWE tryouts last month in Florida.

WWE created the ID program back in October 2024 with the intent to provide independent wrestlers financial support and other incentives and opportunities, which includes creating a pathway to the possible opportunity for a spot on the NXT brand.
