Jade Cargill recently took to social media, addressing a degree of backlash from fans.
What started as addressing her promo on the 3/27 edition of SmackDown turned into the WWE Women’s Champion expressing gratitude for having everything she wants in life, and encouraging fans to be proud of what they’ve done:
With some referring to posts as a “scathing rant,” Cargill later clarified the meaning behind her previous comments, decrying the response as “tasteless”:
That wasn’t what this was at all. I was talking about how blessed I am and being THANKFUL. This is so tasteless. News can’t be this slow.
Cargill is set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42, emanating from Allegiant Stadium in Paradise (Las Vegas), Nevada, on April 18 and April 19.
