Report: WWE shutting down reaction content due to copyright

A new report from Fightful Select has revealed new details surrounding WWE taking down videos from streamers and other content creators reacting to the company’s programming.

This was notably the most vast the company has gone for this, with a company called “StreamEnforcements” using bots to file copyright claims against several creators on YouTube and other media-related sites.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline further confirmed that WWE “totally clamped down this week,” forcing big names to pull the content from their accounts.

A similar situation arose in late 2023, shortly before the WWE return of CM Punk at Survivor Series.

This has come as somewhat a surprise in the wake of the company showing those streamers on Raw, SmackDown, and even premium live events, such as this compilation of reactions to Tiffany Stratton winning the WWE Women’s Championship last year:
