According to a report from Fightful Select , The Butcher and The Blade are gone from AEW.
The report notes the due were not offered a contract extension after their deals recently came up, thus making them free agents and the ability to work anywhere else they so choose.
The team first debuted on the November 27, 2019 episode of Dynamite, when they came from under the ring, attacking Cody Rhodes.
The Blade underwent successful spinal fusion surgery on his lower back back on September 10, 2024, keeping him out of action for two years. The Butcher went on as a singles wrestler, and last appeared on the February 22, 2025 episode of Collision, taking a loss to Gabe Kidd. Their final match as a team was on the January 18, 2024 episode of ROH against Top Flight.
The Blade is married to Allie, who was known as The Bunny in AEW. She departed AEW on November 9, 2023. She made her return to TNA in a vignette with Rosemary back on the March 12, 2026 episode of IMPACT on AMC.
