Flair says they have a new saying. Sky rockets at night, afternoon lights. He tells McMichaels and Green that while McMichaels has been playing football, he has been making up for lost time. He says Debra belongs to the nature boy.

Roy’s thoughts: Not a bad match. Ric Flair was always fun to watch and The American Males were an underrated tag team.

Razor is wearing a denim vest says “You people, you know who I am. But you don’t know why I’m here.” He asks where is billionaire Ted? Where is the nacho man. He says that punk can’t even get in the building, him, he goes wherever he wants, whenever he wants,

He asks where is skeme Gene. Because he has a scoop for him. When the ken doll look a like, weather man wanna be comes out later tonight, he has a challenge for him, for billionaire Ted, for the nacho man and for anyone in WCW.

He says if you want to go to war, if you want a warm you’re going to get one.

The referee is on the ring apron and he tells him to leave. Razor leaves the ring.

Roy’s thoughts: This was the start of the biggest angle in arguably all of wrestling. Everyone knew who Razor Ramon was but this was a different Razor. Going after Mene Gene, Eric Bischoff, Ted Turner, Macho Man, this was something that was not seen yet in wrestling.

-Commercial Break-

Roy’s thoughts: It felt like every week, the WCW World title was defended on the show and it felt special. I think everyone expected The Giant to win here but just having the title defended added a lot to the show.

Out comes Gene Okerlund into the right after the match. He tells Luger that DDP was denied his title shot and the committee gave Luger the title shot. Luger says he doesn’t make the matches and no one wants The Giant more than he does. We see a clip from two weeks ago where The Giant chokeslammed him through a table. Luger says they are out there wrestling, trying to make a living. He says he can’t believe he did that to him. He says The Giant didn’t try to win a match, he tried to take him out but he is still standing. He says paybacks are a you know what.

Roy’s thoughts: Not a bad match and them leaning into Luger getting the title match over DDP just adds more to the possible Luger turn.

He says he is not going anywhere. He says to prove himself, he challenges the man who they call franchise, Sting.

Roy’s thoughts: I enjoyed the match. Regal was always great in the ring and Alex Wright was a lot of fun to watch. The promo from Regal was great.

Winner: No contest

Both teams with right hands but in come WCW wrestlers to try to break it up.

We cut to Eric Bischoff and Bobby Heenan. I comes Razor Ramon. He tells Bischoff that he has a big mouth and “we are sick of it”. Bischoff asks who is we. Razor says this is where the big boys play, what a joke. He tells Bischoff to go to tell billionaire Ted to get three of his very, very best. Maybe the nacho man. Maybe the Stinger. He tells Bischoff to get anyone he wants because “we are taking over”. Bischoff asks him who is we. Razor says if you want a war, you got one. In Razor sayus to do it in the ring where it matters. He says if billionaire Ted and his big boys have any guts, they are coming down, like it or not, “we are taking over”. Razor throws his tooth pick onto Bischoff and Bischoff tells him he is out of there. Razor walks away. Bischoff and Heenan look at each other and Nitro goes off the air.

Roy’s thoughts: That was a great main event. Two wrestlers that the fans like. Two wrestlers that you can’t see losing to each other. Having Luger come out continues to, like I said, add to the possible turn that he will have.

Razor Ramon saying “we” and Bischoff asking him who is “we” makes it that much more entertaining. Obviously we know it’s Kevin Nash but watching this, not knowing who it is, this is something else. A great show.
