IMPACT TV taping SPOILERS: Matches taped on 4/29, WWE Superstar backstage

IMPACT Wrestling held its latest set of television tapings on April 29 at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, IL. Below are the matches and segments taped to air for future episodes on AXS TV.

-Deaner & Kon (with Angels) defeated Zicky Dice & Johnny Swinger

-Sami Callihan defeated Shogun

-Trey Miguel defeated Laredo Kid

-Trey held the show up and said he wanted respect. Chris Sabin came out, setting up an X-Division Title bout between them at IMPACT Under Siege.

-IMPACT World Championship Match: Steve Maclin (c) retained over Rhino. Post-Match: Maclin beatdown Rhino with a chair and shovel. Rhino was taken out on a stretcher.

-Jason Hotch (w/ Brian Myers & John Skylar) defeated Ace Austin (w/ Chris Bey)

-Trinity defeated Kilynn King (w/ Taylor Wilde)

-Jai Vidal came out and said Gisele Shaw accepts Trinity’s challenge for IMPACT Under Siege. He tried to attack Trinity, but is kicked in the head.

-Jody Threat defeated Sierra

-Alex Shelley, Jonathan Gresham, & Yuya Uemera defeated Moose, Eddie Edwards, & Frankie Kazarian

-Chris Sabin defeated Mike Bailey

-Sheldon Jean & Kenny King defeated Black Taurus & Crazzy Steve. Nick Aldis was on commentary to help set up a match against Kenny King at IMPACT Under Siege.

-Taylor Wilde (w/ Kilynn King) defeated Jessika

-The Coven attacked Jessicka. Courtney Rush & Rosemary made the save.

-Jordynne Grace defeated Alisha Edwards

-Chris Bey (w/ Ace Austin) defeated John Skylar (w/ Jason Hotch & Brian Myers)

-Steve Maclin said that his match with PCO at Under Siege won’t happen because PCO has been “killed.” Maclin said he would face Champagne Singh. Scott D’Amore came out and said PCO was in the building. The lights went out and PCO cleaned house when they came back on.

-IMPACT Knockouts Championship Match: Deonna Purrazzo retained over Killer Kelly

According to PWInsider CM Punk, who was backstage at Saturday night’s taping was well received and spent a lot of time most of the night talking with talents, several of whom told him how he impacted or inspired their career.  

Mercedes Mone’ and Tamina Snuka were also backstage to support Trinity Fatu for her first official post-WWE match.
