Saturday night’s IMPACT SPOILERS From Atlanta; Former Champ Backstage

IMPACT Wrestling held its second set of Summer Sizzler tapings Saturday night at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia. A former tag team champion was also backstage at the show, which can be seen at the bottom of the spoilers.

Below are the spoilers from Saturday night’s tapings, courtesy of PWInsider.

-Trinity defeated Jai Vidal via submission.  After the match, Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans attacked Trinity. Deonna Purrazzo made the save.  She and Trinity then faced off.

-PCO defeated The Good Hands in a handicap match, with a moonsault.  Scott D’Amore accompanied PCO to the ring and was on commentary during the match. D’Amore got in the ring and laid out of of The Good Hands with a Sky High. Bully Ray then showed up and Steve Maclin attacked PCO and D’Amore from Behind with a chair. They handcuffed D’Amore to the top rope while they beat down PCO with the chair. Bully and Maclin got a table and double chokeslammed PCO through it.

-Lio Rush and Nick Aldis defeated the Motor City Machine Guns. Rush pinned Chris Sabin with a frog splash

-Zachary Wentz defeated IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion Chris Bey

-Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Kevin Knight. It was said the match had the crowd on their feet.

-Deonna Purrazzo came out to issue an open challenge. It was answered by Jody Threat. Purrazzo won via submission. Jai Vidal’s crew the came out and attacked Purrazzo, which brought out the entire Knockouts locker room for a brawl. Trinity ran in at the end to clear the ring and then Trinity and Purrazzo had a pull apart brawl.

-Moose and Brian Myers defeated Sami Callihan and Rich Swann, in a good back and forth tag match.

-Really good 4-Way X-Division Match with IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion Ace Austin defeating Angels, Trey Miguel and Jonathan Gresham. Ace pinned Angels.

-IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Coven and The Design defeated Decay and The Death Dollz

-Killer Kelly and Masha Slamovich defeated Gisele Shaw & Savannah Evans, with a double Ganso Bomb on Evans

-Tommy Dreamer vs. Champagne Singh. During the match, Santino came out and made it a Hardcore match. Shera immediately ran in and attacked Dreamer. Bhupinder Gujjar came out to neutralize him. Dreamer won the match with a DDT. It was aid that this seemed to not be the actual planned finish as Singh got his foot on the bottom rope but the referee still made the three and Dreamer’s music hit. After the match, Dreamer yelled at the hard camera for his music to stop. They then proceeded with what was assumed were the planned spots that included chairs and a Kendo stick. Dreamer then pinned Singh and counted his own three count. It is believed this match was only for the live crowd and will not air on television. Dreamer then grabbed the mic and put over the referee as a hard worker. Dreamer thanked the crowd as the tapings ended.

Frankie Kazarian posted a photo of Skipper visiting backstage at the IMPACT tapings on Saturday night. IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley and IMPACT X-Division Champion Chris Sabin also had a photo with Skipper.

Elix Skipper is former multi-time NWA World Tag Team Champion. Skipper was best known for some great athletic moves in the ring and was part of the Triple X faction alongside Low Ki and Christopher Daniels.
